Wondering what rides your little one will not only love, but be able to experience during your upcoming trip to Magic Kingdom? Look no further. Below is a complete list of the rides and attractions at Magic Kingdom that are mom and toddler approved! I went a step further and listed them by intensity/suggested age demographic going from youngest developmental age to oldest. I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app ahead of time. Within the app you can view a map of each park. This will help yourself become more acquainted with Magic Kingdom’s layout and your top priority items. Spend less time wondering “which way?!” and more time shouting “this way!!”. I hope you are pleasantly surprised with this list of 23 toddler-friendly rides and attractions at Magic Kingdom. Please feel free to share with your friends, family, and most especially that snooty coworker who tried to pull the “but they won’t even remember it” crap. We all know the magic is felt by our littles and creates truly once-in-a-lifetime memories that us parents get to hold onto forever.

Now there are rides and attractions not listed above that either require no minimum height, or are 40 in and under. However, they don’t really qualify as “toddler-friendly” in our book and therefore are not listed above. For example, my son is 3.5 years old and on this most recent trip he was 42 inches tall which qualified him for some of the larger rides. But what’s important to keep in mind is that although their height allows it or perhaps there is no requirement doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll love the ride, attraction or meet and greet. Like the Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train. It’s a fan favorite (the daily lines are typically 90+ minutes) but we found the speed and intensity to be a bit much. You will also notice that Pirates of the Caribbean is near the bottom of the list. It’s slow and requires no minimum height but it’s also rather dark and spooky with cannons and drunken sailors strewn about. So it’s available for riding with your little one but maybe not the most engaging. Of course, this is just our family’s experience and opinion! We are all subject to our own adventure and fun. I hope you found this list helpful for your upcoming trip and that it’s even more Magical than you imagined. Please leave any questions or comments below!
